Get the right traffic to your website
How do you get more visitors to your website and importantly how do you get the right customers to your website? Perhaps you are getting lots of traffic but you're getting is attracting the wrong type of visitor and this is not converting into sakes. Those who basically click in and click out.

We refer to this as bounce rate. Bounce Rate is what happens when a user clicks on one page, and then almost immediately leaves the website or page. The there is DWELL Time which influences a web pages authority and ranking. For it to be considered dwell time, the visitor needs to click on a page from the SERP (Search Engine Results Page, stay a while, and then either click back to the SERP or otherwise exit the page. If the visitor then clicks on another page of your website this is then refered to as Time On Page.

Likewise what some people believe are the most popular keywords are often not. And sometimes the keywords you are using are getting you the wrong type of visitors.

Can I use AI content in my website
I get asked these questions a lot. Can I use AI Generated content in my website? Will AI generated text negatively affect SEO? Can you rank in Google using computer generated content?
Google does not exclude, ban or punish your website for having AI-generated content. Google accepts the use of AI-generated content, as long as it's done ethically. 

I had used the word ethically in a previus blog and then had to go back and check exactly what that means. 
​Meaning of Ethically - in a way that is morally right or that relates to moral principles.

Well that cleared it up, right? Well no, not really.

I've written about duplicate content previously and although I am very impressed with AI technology I do wonder how much of it is copied from other online sources. And going forward, how much of the AI platforms generated content is being re-generated, thus making it a copy of a copy and potentially already used content.

It's an interesting subject and one that may evolve.

CAN I DO A ONE PAGE WEBSITE? - SEO LONODN

HOW MANY WEBSITE PAGES DO I NEED?

So. when I get a new client they are usually asking me why they 're website is not ranking in Google.

One of the most common issues I find is that their website does not have enough pages. And then they ask "How many pages do I need?" 

Well that does depend. I do know that more equals more and achieves better results, but what is the minimum no of web page you need?

HOW MANY WEBSITE PAGES DO YOU NEED?

Yeah, so generally I tell my clients they need a minumum of 6 pages and a blog page to rank. 

And that each page needs to focus on a minimum of x number of keywords,  with images and additional content.

BUT DO I KNOW THIS FOR SURE?
Well in short no? All I Know is Google loves content and the more content you have the better your page/s and or website will rank.

SO I DECIDED TO TEST IT OUT
So initially I set up a one page wbsite for my name "Zach Mendelsohn". I thought there are quite a few websites and people using Zach Mendelsohn as a keyword and that would be a simple and easy benchmark. to follow.

I mean, if I can't rank highly for my own name then surely there is proof in the theory and I have evidenced this with practice (nearly said pudding then).

ONE PAGE ZACH MENDELSOH WEBSITE

So it took nearly 3 weeks for Google to pick it up in searches (search results) despite me linking to it.

And is now only on page 3 of Google.

NOT THE BEST START UP
Usually my page would be picked up within 48hrs bu not this one. 3 weeks.........!

SO I ADDED A GOOGLE BUSINESS LISTING (NOT AVAILABLE ANYMORE)
Not sure whether this helped or was the main reason why I got listed, but I have now linked this account with Google Business.  ​Best SEO London

Interestingly this webpage is now No.1 in Bing Search Engine.

It appears Google is a bit more disconcerning! And is much further down the list. 

WILL SOCIAL MEDIA HELP?
So that has not stopped me!

I have used existing accounts and created new social media channels to link to this new website.

And I have basically thrown everything at it.

So will a  one page ZACH MENDELSOHN website rank highly in Google?

SEO RESULTS THUS FAR
Results are ongoing but they do seem to back up my and other peoples theories.

WHICH IS: That you need more than one wesbite page to rank highly in Google. 

HOWEVER
Results were not as bad as I expected though and I hope to update you on further improvements.

UPDATE
It has just made it into page one, at the bottom of the list in position 9. With all the effort and linking I would coclude Google does not like one page websites. Unless it is it's own business.site page. WHich has faired much better but still not great.
